Robert W. Gierkink

Robert W. Gierkink

Prior to founding Datalogix, Robert Gierkink co-founded three of the world’s largest cross-merchant loyalty programs. He was most recently CEO of Loyalty Management Group (LMG), the company that operates the United Kingdom’s largest loyalty program, Nectar, with over 50% of UK households participating. Under Gierkink’s leadership, the company grew from start-up to over $400 million in revenues in under 6 years. LMG was sold to Group Aeroplan in December 2007 in a $750 million cash transaction. Gierkink also co-founded the largest loyalty programs in Canada (Air Miles Reward Program) and the Netherlands (Air Miles Program) which today have 70% and 50% of households participating in their respective countries.. He has keynoted the DMA’s annual conference, and served as a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School and London Business School.

Robert was born in Canada and holds a Bachelor of Business Management from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School in Boston.

Tim Connor

Tim Connor

Tim Connor has been a Partner, Sequel Venture Partners since 2000. Prior to Sequel, he was CFO and SVP of Operations of Access Health, which was acquired by McKesson in 1999. Connor was a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers from 1985 – 1996.

He currently sits on the Boards of Aztek Networks, Inc., InfoNow Corporation and Quova, Inc.

Connor has an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Washington College.

David Fialkow
Managing Director and Co-Founder, General Catalyst Partners

David Fialkow

As a Managing Director and Co-Founder of General Catalyst Partners, David invests in both new and existing technology businesses. His areas of special interest include: consumer services; security and defense; and travel. David and General Catalyst co-founded Upromise (acquired by Sallie Mae in June 2006).

Prior to co-founding General Catalyst Partners, David Fialkow co-founded and operated numerous businesses focused on building applied technology-based platforms and tools for the travel, information services, financial services, specialty retail, and payment processing industries. These companies include: National Leisure Group, one of the largest leisure travel technology and distribution companies in the U.S.; Alliance Development Group (sold to MyPoints.com), a company that creates enhancement and loyalty programs; Retail Growth ATM Systems (sold to PNC Bank), a national ATM and interactive network provider; and Starboard Cruise Services (sold to LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, Inc.), the operator of more than 300 duty-free retail stores on 100 cruise ships and owner of the Miami and Ft. Lauderdale Airport duty-free stores. David is also a former associate of Thomas H. Lee Company and U.S. Venture Partners.

David’s a graduate of Colgate University, earning a B.A. in Fine Arts and Boston College Law School, where he received a J.D.

Gabe Ling
Growth Equity – Vice President, General Catalyst Partners

Gabe Ling

Gabe focuses on leading investments in growth stage companies in the technology, software, consumer, business services, healthcare services and IT, and clean energy sectors. He serves on the boards of CLEAResult and DataLogix and is actively involved with CCP Games. Gabe also worked closely with Reveal Imaging Technologies prior to its acquisition by SAIC (NYSE: SAI), and BBN Technologies prior to its acquisition by Raytheon Company (NYSE:RTN).

Prior to joining GC, Gabe worked at the Yale Investments Office, where he analyzed asset allocation decisions and evaluated managers and investment opportunities. Gabe is a graduate of Yale University, earning a B.A. in Economics.
